(Previous version | Next version)
Notable changes
In ongoing efforts to improve the accessibility of all Pocket Geek ID features, the Managers’ headers have been reimagined in order to improve color contrast and readability for all (no more color coding). A few more versions will be needed to call the app accessible to the standard that we wish to achieve, but several improvements have been made in v1.24, and we are committed to becoming even better.
Improvements were made in the “Getting started” section. When an explanatory video is available, the button taking users out of Pocket Geek ID to try for themselves has been removed to avoid confusion.
Notable bug fixes
The “Remember Master Key” checkbox when the screen is locked is now accessible using keyboard navigation.
When revoking consent for “My Digital Footprint” on the Dashboard, users previously encountered an unexpected delay. This is now fixed.
Known issue
expedia.com has a bug that blocks the creation of an account with an alias email address on some devices. This is not linked to the validity of the alias though, and you can use the same alias to create an account from a different device.
Notable changes
It is now possible for users to import their passwords from Chrome to Pocket Geek ID, directly from their Android device. The steps to follow have been added in the “Getting started” section.
Users can now save credentials for an account after logging in or registering if they forgot to use the Smartfield Icon to do so. A message appears at the bottom of the screen asking them if they wish to add the account to their Password Manager.

The Tracker Filter doesn’t work with the Chrome browser. This is a limitation orchestrated by Chrome for which we currently have no workaround.

The widget able to generate an alias email address on the go was added to the spotlight screen in v1.23. It is now possible to edit the generated address directly from the spotlight screen as well: it is no longer necessary to open the app to rename it. (A long press on the Pocket Geek ID icon on the Home screen provides the same possibility as well)
